Egri Leányka 2011, dry

The Egri Leányka is the typical white wine of Eger. Wines made from this type gained great fame for the town. The Leányka, a typical Hungarian variant, is distinguished by its airiness, freshness and bouquet, as well as by its sturdy character.

Its velvety and oily touch pleases the palate even after the very first sip.

It has a breezy colour and a clear fragrance, the dominant components of its bouquet are the floral and fruity character. By its flavour it is a light wine, its smooth acids, however, make it precious.

Recommended with salads, pasta, fish and poultry.
